DIRECTOR / ACUPUNCTURIST. Melbourne Location

BHSc (Acupuncture)

The best results come from the practitioner and patient working together as a team!

I have often been asked over the years, “Why Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine? How did you end up doing this?” In short, it was my own wonderful experience with acupuncture and herbal medicine as a teenager that inspired my interest and decision to study Acupuncture. For me, the connection between mind and body, emotions and illness became obvious from a young age. I felt determined to help others understand this connection and achieve optimal wellness – in both mind and body.

I have always been fascinated by the role hormones play in women’s health and love supporting women with hormonal issues such as:
– Menstrual irregularities
– Dysmenorrhea (period pain)
– Amenorrhea (no periods)
– PCOS
– Endometriosis and
– Fertility support / Preconception care / Pregnancy support

Since having my own little ones, I have been particularly drawn to supporting women from preconception to pregnancy and beyond. Not every woman’s road to motherhood is an easy one and I love supporting patients both emotionally and physically. I work with women aiming to conceive naturally or through IVF.

I believe health education surrounding nutrition and lifestyle choices are as important as what happens in the treatment room. I am passionate about supporting my patients to feel confident in making healthy choices for their bodies. The best results come from the practitioner and patient working together as a team!

Outside of Shift Natural Medicine I am kept very busy with my beautiful son and daughter, like all parents I spend much of my time exploring parks and playgrounds! I am a yoga lover with a passion for summer sunshine, being outdoors and travel.

I would love to work with you in achieving your health goals so you can feel happy, energised and live your life to the fullest.
