Dr Tory Giles

Shift Founder and Director. Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbalist, Personal Trainer + Pilates Instructor

BHSc (Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine)

Hello! I'm Tory, Dr of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, holistic health enthusiast, Mum of two girls, and I am dedicated to helping people discover their ultimate flow.

With a Bachelor of Health Science, Tory has been practicing Chinese Medicine for over six years, is a qualified Personal Trainer and Pilates instructor, and strongly believes if you ‘shift the mind, the body will follow’. She helps people achieve this through looking at the many layers of our health and treating with the healing art of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, combined with the latest research in natural medicine, body movement and nutrition.

Tory is Founder and Director of Shift Natural Medicine, a space she opened in 2013 in Melbourne for people to visit and feel empowered to reach optimal health through providing access to a range of different natural health practitioners, who work collaboratively to determine the best approach for each individual’s needs.

As well as a business owner, corporate and event speaker, media spokesperson and content creator, Tory is a mum to two young girls Evelyn and Savannah who since coming into her life has provided Tory with another level of health knowledge and understanding when it comes to women and mother and child health.

This first-hand experience and interest led Tory to develop a personal passion for women’s health and in particular the impact hormones and stress can play on many aspects of our wellbeing – some of the most common being fertility, immune, gut and skin health. Tory is now highly regarded and sought after for her expertise in this evolving and important area.

As well as treating at her clinics, Tory strongly believes that education is power and is passionate about reaching out and igniting people’s interest in better understanding the many layers of their health and what works best for them.
